Cape Verde Airlines, a Cape Verdean airline, made the Praia - Lisboa flight yesterday, one of the novelties of its 2018/2019 winter plan. On board the passengers could taste some of Cape Verdean gastronomy.
Cape Verde Airlines made the Praia-Lisbon flight, which operates with four weekly flights. The company is again active in one of its main connections to the country, corresponding to market demand.
On this morning flight, passengers had a chance to sample some of Cape Verde's gastronomy, and a traditional Cape Verdean breakfast consisting of braised sausage with starry egg accompanied by mint tea was served.
Onboard the aircraft acceptance of the new menu exceeded expectations, with good reception from the passengers. In particular, note the success of natural mint tea.
In this gastronomic trip, passengers will also have the option of omelettes with earth cheese for breakfast, and at lunch, typical dishes like chicken with totoco, fish marinated with rice and painted as dessert, traditional sweets.
This new initiative seeks to promote the gastronomy of the archipelago aboard Cape Verde Airlines aircraft, and is only available on flights from Praia. Implementation of the traditional Cape Verde menu for flights from Sal is under way.
