Sunday Culinary Festival at Calhau
Each Sunday restaurant & hotel CHEZ LOUTCHA organises a unique experience: SUNDAY CULINARY FESTIVAL at their restaurant in village CALHAU (north-west on the island São Vicente).
We pick you up at 12:00 at your hotel and will drive you to hotel Chez Loutcha in centre of Mindelo.
Afterwards, you continue with the hotel bus approx. 30 minutes to fishing village CALHAU with beautiful beach for swimming and restaurant next to the beach.
The Culinary Festival is organised like a buffet, when exactly at 13:30 ring the bell and the most delicious food is to be taken from overloaded tables.
The Festival is very popular also by the locals, so that you have great opportunity to meet them by a beer, to dance with local girls – since after the lunch there is live music with short dancing exhibition, always followed by dancing couples (either our clients or mixed pairs)….
This Festival is indeed especial, since for very low price – you can feed your stomach with the most delicious dishes like: lobster, shell-fish, crabs, shrimps, beef-steaks, local deserts….and eat and taste until you are really full.
Of course, there is an excellent choice as of locals, so branded drinks!
