The Cultural Tour
1st day (SAT) – Welcome to Cabo Verde
Flight to Sao Vicente which is home to the second largest city of Cape Verde. Mindelo is definitely the cultural center of the Archipelago influenced by Cuban, Brazilian, French, English and Portuguese roots. Check-in to the central located hotel. Welcome dinner with life music.

2nd day (SUN) – Discovery of São Vicente
São Vicente is a small, mostly volcanic island with beautiful un-spoilt beaches. Today, you will discover its magic starting with the breathtaking panoramic road which leads you to the highest point of the island called Monte Verde (774 m) embracing the great view over Mindelo and by good weather conditions over Santo Antao and Sao Nicolau. Visit hidden fisher villages, cerulean blue bays, walk on a sand dune or a lava field. Lunch in the popular restaurant to enjoy the good food and company animated by live music and dance performance (min. 15 pers.).

3rd day, (Mon) – Mindelo a cultural insight
Optional ACTIVITY
During our full day tour, you visit the highlights of Mindelo such as Praca Nova, the Harbor, Fish market. Mindelo is the culture capital of Cape Verde, it has an enormously thriving music scene that has produced international artists such as Cesaria Evora, Lura and Tito Paris. Lunch in a typical Cape Verdean restaurant. Let’s visit a guitar manufacture where the artisans of art will explain how the “cavaquinhos” are still hand made. Then, enjoy a small private concert in their workshop. During our walking tour, a very famous Cape Verdean painter will expect us in his studio.

4th day, (Tues) – First touch of Santo Antão
Early morning, we take the ferry for a 60 minutes’ journey to reach Santo Antão the greenest island of the Archipelago. From Porto Novo we follow a panoramic road -overlooking valleys and ravines -leading us to small picturesque villages. Stop in a farm for a goat cheese tasting. Passing through the Strada Velha de Corda until Coculi, visit of a sugarcane farm (trapiche) and participate to the elaboration of our traditional meal the “cachupa”. Late afternoon, transfer to your hotel in the Ribeira Grande valley.

5th day, (WED) – Ocean, rocks and tropical forest
Optional ACTIVITY
This morning, departure for Fontainhas, a small and colorful village where you will taste the typical cake „fongo de banana” and the excellent traditional coffee. Continuation to Ponta do Sol for a visit of the fishing village. Then, discover The Paul Valley known to be the greenest of the Archipelago. It’s like a dive into the lush-green vegetal world. Lunch in an organic restaurant with visit of the property and fields. Later, continuation to Cabo de Ribeira for a grogue distillery visit and tasting. Back to Porto Novo and accommodation in a resort by the ocean.

6th day, (Thu) – Wild west experience
Optional ACTIVITY
Departure for Cha de Morte, where we visit a primary school. Then we stop at Lagedos, hometown of the famous poet, Baltazar Lopes. Visit of his house. Lunch in a sugarcane farm’s restaurant. Continuation to Campo Redondo at the feet of the highest point – Tope de Coroa (1.979) – and walk to Bolona in a moon like scenery. Late in the afternoon, back to your hotel by the ocean.

7th DAY (FRI) – Cooking lesson & party
Optional: join a cooking lesson organized by your hotel or relax and enjoy the ocean. In the afternoon we take the ferry back to Mindelo. Farewell dinner with live music in a nice restaurant to emerge in the famous nightlife of Mindelo. We will visit the most popular places to listen some of the greatest guitar player of the city.

8th day, (SAT) – come back soon
Morning free time to enjoy the city beach Laginha or do some shopping in Mindelo. Early afternoon transfer to the APT and fly back to Europe.
