The islands of São Nicolau, Santiago and Santo Antão will host in the next October the three stages of the Cape Verde Triangle Trial (CVTT) which is an adventure sports / tourism circuit, trail run and is intended for trail- and ultramarathon, with the participation of nationals and foreigners. But, it is also suitable for the adepts of trekking, hiking and sport of nature.
The confirmation of the completion of the stages in Cape Verde was announced on Tuesday, and according to the General Directorate of Sports (DGD), the main goal of the Cape Verde Triangle Trail (CVTT) is to show the potential of Cape Verde for adventure tourism, especially for the Trail.
The first edition takes place in three stages, the first being on October 25, in the Natural Park of Serra Malagueta (Santiago), from October 2 to 27 in the Natural Park of Fogo, and October 3 to 30 in the Natural Park of Cova, Paúl and Ribeira da Torre (Santo Antão).
